Dieting

From long ago it is a known fact that "health is wealth". It is very important for a person to maintain his/her health in a very good condition. Habitual of a person determines the health of the person. A person's diet is very important factor while considering keeping it up with good healthy condition of the body.

The external conditions like seasons around the year influences the type of food that we should have in such seasons to maintain the health. In winter we do tend to eat more as the stomach asks for more to sustain the cold weather. We can get hungrier in winter and our belly demands for more than usual.

In summer we hardly feel that hungry, the season mitigates the hunger in us but demands for consumption of more and more liquids and cool products as we go along to keep up with daily routines. 
It is very important to have a balanced healthy diet. The benefits of having such a diet are:
1. Our productivity increases, we would be able to do our jobs with more efficiency and accuracy.
2. We will be happier. Balanced diet makes one joyful.
3. We will be less stressful as the balanced diet makes us strong enough to sustain the stress
4. Eating right and balanced food will control our body weight
5. Eating balanced diet increases the life span of a person
6. Consuming balanced diet will make us look younger than our actual age and we will be better looking.
7. Balanced diet will make the food taste better than we thought
8.  Healthy diet will make us eat in the right proportion we will never over eat.
9. Healthy diet will save us a lot of money that we spend on consuming junk food
10. Balanced diet help us maintain our health and we feel healthier

Now let’s look at some of the compromises that crash diet causes:
1.    When a person suddenly goes on a crash diet and controls his calories, the body, in the fear of its starving, fights to protect its set fat point by lowering the body’s metabolism to click into the fat storage rather than burning the fat.
2.    During the first two weeks on crash diet we tend to lose the proteins and water as the body protects the fat as last reserve due to which one may feel lousy during the first two weeks.
3.     Crash diet not only cuts bad fats but might also cut good fats which would eventually cause fat deficiency
4.    crash diets does not keep up the pace between insulin, carbohydrates, and fat storage

5.    It would be very hard for one to change from balanced nutritional diet to crash diet as the body resists this kind of downsizing.
